Lucky's Buzzy Ball

My dog is almost totally blind now, and while doing laps in the pool is his favorite thing in life (and best, most reliable form of full body exercise) I miss the throw-and-catch from when he was a puppy. And I'm sure he does too---ball-obsessed as he is. He carries a ball with him wherever he goes.

So my solution is to make a beepy-ball. I've started investigating hobby electronics as a way of learning some things that I never really understood and getting enough knowledge to make a few little projects that I've "always wanted to do."
